Two disciplines in one degree course

We particularly recommend studying Business Psychology to people who wish to work in an international company, which also wishes to achieve its economic targets under psychological aspects. Business psychologists work in a wide range of company divisions. The selection and development of personnel, marketing, coaching and communication belong to the classic areas where companies obtain psychological expertise nowadays. CBS degree course joins the communication of business and economics with lectures from the field of psychology, placing emphasis on the company divisions where business psychologists work.

Pick a second area of expertise for your major

In the General Management degree course you do not only choose one specialization – you choose two. This way you are able to combine different areas of competence in order to define your very own portfolio. Business Psychology for example pairs well with Marketing Management.

Financial Management: controlling, risk management and more
International Management: foreign trade, market entry and more
Supply Chain Management: procurement, distribution and more
Business Psychology: consumer psychology, organisational psychology and more
Management and Human Resources Management: leadership, labor law and more

Practical curriculum

We attach a lot of importance to the practicality of our curriculum. We combine the theoretical aspects of management and business psychology with actual and real-life examples. The integration of case studies, a Business Project or a Business Simulation Game into the curriculum are examples of combining theory and practice. Additionally you can further broaden your practical and theoretical knowledge with two elective courses of your choice.

Intense language training

In addition to all classes being taught in English, in case of the English program, you can also chose to learn another foreign language – for example Chinese, French, Japanese, Russian, Korean or Spanish. The range of courses we offer each semester always depends on the voting behaviour of our students. Alternatively, you can amplify your English skills with extra English language courses by choosing our English-Only-Track. You can further strengthen your foreign language skills during your semester or internship abroad.
