Spending a semester abroad has many advantages: you experience new cultures, strengthen your foreign language skills, gain a career advantage, make new friends, achieve greater independence and gather valuable memories. All CBS bachelor's and master's programmes offer the possibility to spend a semester abroad at one of more than 160 international partner universities. For English-language and dual bachelor programmes, a semester abroad is mandatory. However, the German-language bachelor programmes “Beriebswirtschaft & Management” and “Wirtschaftspsychologie” as well as all master programmes also provide students the opportunity to spend one semester at a partner university. Spending a semester abroad not only offers you the opportunity to study in another country, but also an unforgettable intercultural experience. You will immerse yourself in at least one new culture of which you may have initially thought you were already familiar. For example, because you have spent your holidays there or because, as a neighbouring country to Germany, it can't be that much different from your own.
