For most companies, sales are the success factor par excellence: Efficient sales means increased turnover and profit. To achieve this, companies are particularly dependent on optimally trained sales experts.
In the extra-occupational master’s degree course in Sales Management and Sales Psychology, you will acquire sound knowledge in strategic sales management, but will also get to know the practical implementation in customer acquisition and support. At the interface with sales psychology, there are exciting opportunities to apply the management knowledge you have acquired in a targeted manner in sales using the appropriate psychological methods. In this master’s degree programme, you will receive in-depth business management training with comprehensive psychological methodological knowledge and will be trained as a sales expert for direct entry into middle and upper management. The prerequisite for admission to the master’s programme is a first academic degree, preferably from the field of economics. Admission with a first academic degree from a different subject is also possible after the successful completion of one or more preliminary semesters but requires an individual examination.
In addition to business management and psychological content, this part-time master’s programme also provides you with insights into the overriding issues facing global companies and into versatile soft skills: The Digital Management teaching unit examines issues of digital change that have an enormous impact on sales. The subject Corporate Social Responsibility focuses on aspects of sustainable sales as well as corporate responsibility and is discussed using case studies. As general soft skills you will receive training in social and sales psychological skills. A Business English course complements the German language studies to train you for the international business market.
Sales experts are in demand in all industries. Especially in the areas of key account management, sales management or in large marketing & sales teams, this comprehensive business degree with a focus on sales psychology will make you a sought-after specialist. Your acquired skills are transferable to different products and services in both B2B and B2C. A subsequent doctoral programme is also possible as the next step in your career.
