CBS International Business School applied for and won "One University - One Book" with the book "Invisible Women - How a World Dominated by Data Ignores Half the Population" by Caroline Criado-Perez. The Stifterverband and the Klaus Tschira Foundation, in cooperation with ZEIT Verlag, have announced this program for the fifth time. They award prizes to the ten best book or theme ideas and the university campaigns planned for them and support their implementation with €10,000 each.

Caroline Criado-Perez's book is about the gender data gap, which describes the fact that a large proportion of the scientific data on which our modern world is based was almost exclusively collected

by and for men. Various projects were carried out on this book over the course of 2022, with the official digital kick-off taking place in September 2021.

As part of a panel discussion, Prof. Dr. habil. Ingvill Constanze Ødegaard (GESIS-Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences), Prof. Astrid Linder (vti - Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute) and Nina Straßner (SAP Diversity Manager and member of the Diversity Charta Executive Committee) shared exciting insights from their respective areas. The following activities and events were also carried out:

  • Development of the CBS Women's Network

  • Student support

  • Mentoring programs for female students.
