Zahlen sind das Herz eines jeden Unternehmens. Wer die Finanzlage kennt und sie steuern kann, kann das gesamte Unternehmen führen. Experten/-innen mit Financial Management-Abschluss sind deshalb begehrt. Du arbeitest in den Finanzabteilungen von Unternehmen oder direkt in Unternehmen, für die Geld das wesentliche Business ist: bei Banken, Finanzdienstleistern oder Versicherungen.

Financial Management (B.A.) - Was sind die Studieninhalte? Optimale Vorbereitung auf die Karriere

Wenn Du Dich im Rahmen des International Business Studiums auf Financial Management spezialisierst, erwirbst Du in den Semestern 3 bis 6 tiefes Finance-Fachwissen. Im Finanzmanagement Studium beschäftigst Du Dich mit den grundlegenden Modellen der Kapitalmarkttheorie, mit Finanzinstitutionen und Finanzinstrumenten sowie der Theorie und Praxis der Kapitalmärkte. Dazu zählt auch der Zusammenhang zwischen Risiko und Ertrag von Geldanlagen. Das bildet die Grundlage für weitere Themen wie Corporate Finance oder strategisches Management im Banken- und Finanzwesen. Du wirst lernen, Dich sicher in diesen Themen zu bewegen. Bachelor Thesis12 ECTS ? !

During your 6th semester you are working on your Bachelor thesis. You have 12 weeks to complete your thesis and the subject is freely selectible. A supervisor from CBS will support you and you can write the thesis in collaboration with a company as well.

Bachelor Thesis Tutorial1 ECTS ? !

During the Bachelor Thesis Tutorial you will learn the fundamentals for your Bachelor thesis: Defining the topic as well as structuring the thesis and you will learn the theoretical knowledge for scientific working.

Business Simulation Game4 ECTS ? !

In a business simulation game participants have to manage their own virtual company which operates in the same market as other participant-operated competitors. This involves making typical management decisions in realistic environments. Beside the deepening and active examination of subject-specific knowledge the simulation games also include the team environment, where interaction, communication and prioritization are of paramount importance. Participants learn how to manage risk and uncertainty while time is limited and information constrained. Group-reflections help to take over different perspectives and to discuss pros and cons of content- as well as behaviour-related actions.

Finanzen international managen

Die Finanzwelt ist global vernetzt und wird immer komplexer. Geld- und Warenströme fließen um den Globus. An den Börsen von New York bis Tokyo verändern sich Situationen im Takt von Millisekunden. Durch Währungsschwankungen steigen oder sinken die Werte von Waren, Krediten oder Firmenanteilen. Und Du bist mittendrin. In Deinem Finance Studium lernst Du die Zusammenhänge der Weltwirtschaft kennen, um später selbst Teil der internationalen Geschäftswelt zu werden. Die Sprache, auf die es ankommt: Englisch. Deshalb ist sie Vorlesungssprache. Wir ermutigen Dich außerdem, weitere Fremdsprachen zu erlernen – an der CBS International Business School findest Du ein großes Angebot an Sprachkursen vor.

Wie wachsen Unternehmen? Klar, aus eigener Kraft. Aber auf internationaler Ebene sehr oft auch durch Zusammenschlüsse und Übernahmen. Hier sind die Finanz-Experten/-innen gefragt, auf Seite der Unternehmen, der Banken und der Beratungen. Denn bei diesen „Mergers and Acquisitions“ ist die Auswertung der Finanzkennzahlen, die Financial Due Dilligence, äußerst wichtig. Die Finanz- und Ertragslage wird geprüft, um das Risiko zu begrenzen. Mit dem Wissen aus Deinem Finance Studium kannst Du einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Entscheidungsfindung leisten.

Ideal für alle, die die Börse lieben

Ein Finance Studium befähigt Dich auch, eine Karriere im Börsenhandel oder bei Investmentgesellschaften anzustreben. Viele unserer Studierenden interessieren sich für Finanz- und Anlage-Themen auch über das Studium hinaus. Deshalb gründeten sie beispielsweise den CBS Finance Club. Dort wird alle zwei Wochen diskutiert, Gastredner aus der Finanzwelt kommen vorbei, Wissen und Erfahrungen werden ausgetauscht. Zusätzlich stehen Exkursionen auf dem Programm, beispielsweise zu Börsen oder Hauptversammlungen.
