Admission Process

Bachelor Programmes & EU-Students

Our study programmes start every summer term (february) and fall term (august/september). We recommend applying early because the number of students per course is limited. For this reason we accept your application at any time throughout the year – even before you have graduated high school or completed your school leaving certificate!
Below we explain which requirements you have to meet and how to apply.

  • Icon Requirements

    1. Requirements

The admission requirement for studying at Cologne Business School is a secondary school completion and university qualification or full entrance qualification to an applied sciences university. Equivalent qualifications from schools abroad are recognised accordingly. Comparable certificates include, for example: High School Diploma, Matura, A-Levels, General Certificate of Education or IB Diploma.

In case you do not already posess a school leaving certificate you can submit the previous report.

    3. Assessment Day

The assessment days are held several times per month. Your capability to study is tested in an oral and written examination section. At the same time, this gives you the opportunity to get to know us better. A passed assessment day is “valid” for two years. This gives you the opportunity to meet some requirements very early.

Prepare for the following parts of the Assessment Day:

      • English test
      • Personal test (general knowledge, logical thinking, maths etc.)
      • Essay
      • Group interview (current affairs discussion with other participants)

A passed test is valid for two years
