On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, organizations and Women's Rights Movements all over the world highlight the reality that women and girls continue to face violence and discrimination. The illumination of numerous buildings in orange signals the start of the ORANGE DAYS, sending a strong message against violence against women and girls. Numerous buildings in Cologne, including the CBS International Business School, will be illuminated in orange as well.
As members of the CSR Student Team (Women’s Network), we aim to consider the importance of this day and want to raise awareness at the CBS International Business School. We designed QR codes as part of the project “One Uni – One Book: #TheOtherHalf: Making Invisible Women Visible” to convey important information about Caroline Criado Perez’s “Invisible Women” and how the gender data gap effects the world, as well as the current state of discrimination against women and young girls.
