International Management MBA im Vollzeitstudium an der CBS studieren! Das ermöglicht die Studierenden, sich voll und ganz auf die Hochschulausbildung zu konzentrieren. In vier Semestern erlernen sie programmspezifische Studieninhalte und erhalten zudem die Möglichkeit, diese praktisch anzuwenden. Im Gegensatz zum Fast-Track-Programm beinhaltet das MBA International Management Vollzeitstudium 120 statt 60 ECTS-Punkte – dies erlaubt Dir , Dein Wissen in einzelnen Themengebieten zu vertiefen und eine größere Bandbreite an Seminaren zu besuchen. Die Vorlesungssprache ist Englisch, damit Studierende von vornherein auf eine internationale Karriere vorbereitet werden.

International Management MBA Vollzeit – für wen eignet sich dieses MBA-Studium?

Das MBA-Programm International Management richtet sich insbesondere an Absolventen nicht-wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Studiengänge, die erste Kenntnisse im Erststudium und im Beruf erworben haben. Diese können im MBA-Vollzeitstudium um fundiertes betriebswirtschaftliches Know-how ergänzt werden.

Absolventen wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Studiengänge profitieren ebenso vom MBA International Management in Vollzeit – vorwiegend zur Auffrischung oder zum Aufbau von spezifischem Fachwissen. In this module students will learn about future possible employments and business sectors of their interest. Aim is to discuss the master thesis and industry-related issues with companies to see future prospects, chances and limitations of particular business areas. Was sind die Studieninhalte?

Grundlagen im 1. Semester des MBA International Management

Das erste Semester beinhaltet neben einführenden Modulen zu verschiedenen Management-Schwerpunkten sowie Research-Methoden auch Grundlagen des Accountings. Im Bereich der überfachlichen Kompetenzen werden zusätzlich einige Kurse angeboten wie beispielsweise “Project Management and Digital Skills” oder “Team and Self Management”. Denn neben der fachlichen Expertise sind vor allem Social Skills ein Wettbewerbsvorteil für die Jobsuche.

2. Semester MBA International Management in Vollzeit: globales Management und Corporate Finance

Im zweiten Semester liegt der Fokus auf internationalem Management. Denn die meisten Unternehmen agieren nicht nur national, sondern global. Von zukünftigen Mitarbeitern wird daher gefordert, ein entsprechendes Know-how der internationalen Märkte und Wirtschaft vorzuweisen. Diesem Zweck dienen Seminare wie:

  • Intercultural Awareness

Weitere Schwerpunkte sind Finance sowie Business Law.

Business Project und Business Simulation Game im 3. Semester des MBA in Köln

Im dritten Semester werden die erlernten Inhalte in einem Business Project angewendet. Darin bearbeiten Studierende reale Fallstudien eines Unternehmens und präsentieren ihre Lösungsansätze anschließend vor Unternehmensvertretern. Darüber hinaus wird ein Business Simulation Game veranstaltet – hier treffen Studierende realitätsnahe Business-Entscheidungen und erfahren, welche Konsequenzen sich daraus für das Unternehmen ergeben.

Das Curriculum beinhaltet zudem einen Wahlkurs aus den Bereichen Strategic Management and Consulting, Entrepreneurship oder Sustainability. Außerdem erwarten Dich die Module “Leadership skills and management competencies” sowie “Creative thinking and innovation”.

Master Thesis im 4. Semester des MBA-Vollzeitstudiums

Das vierte Semester beinhaltet im Wesentlichen die Master Thesis. In dieser bearbeiten die Studierenden beispielsweise eine aktuelle Problemstellung unter Berücksichtigung wissenschaftlich fundierter Methoden und Herangehensweisen – gerne in enger Zusammenarbeit mit einem Unternehmen. Auf diese Weise profitieren sowohl die Studierenden als auch die Unternehmen von den erarbeiteten Ergebnissen. Zusätzlich findet ein Career Seminar statt, in dem es um mögliche Berufsfelder sowie Karriereaussichten geht. In diesem Rahmen können erste Kontakte mit relevanten Unternehmern geknüpft werden.
