Research focus

Projects and academic research are carried out within the interdisciplinary framework of the research cluster. The research cluster welcomes the academic interest and participation of students and also of organisations interested in cooperation and provides support for both the conceptual and practical development of academic projects. Current Projects

2014 – 2015: “Varianz & Dynamik: Diversity Management als Antwort auf die sich wandelnde Bevölkerungsstruktur und die daraus folgenden Herausforderungen für die Wirtschaftsregion NRW (DIMA NRW)”. A planned interdisciplinary research project at CBS, supported by companies, consultancies and universities. Prof. Dr. Karlshaus, Prof. Dr. Mochmann and Prof. Dr. Weber are in charge of the project.

2013 – 2015: “Fachkräftemangel in der Beschaffung.” An applied research project in cooperation with 14 prestigious companies (including DAX companies). Prof. Dr. Karlshaus and Dr. Elisabeth Fröhlich are in charge of the project.

2013 – 2014: “Karriere oder Kinder? Good-Practice Werkstatt zu innovativen Arbeitszeitmodellen für Fach- und Führungskräfte” organised by EAF, Deutsche Telekom and Deutsche Bahn. Prof. Dr. Karlshaus is a member of the project.

2012-2015: “Teilzeit-Führung”, a joint project with FH Wildau and FH Berlin, organised by Prof. Dr. Karlshaus and Prof. Dr. Kähler.

2012 – 2015: “Arbeitskreis: Gender und Diversity”, organised by the IHK. Prof. Dr. Karlshaus is a member of the project.

2012 – ongoing: “Vereinbarkeit von Beruf/Studium und Familie”, organised by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Ministry for Family, Children, Youth, Culture and Sport of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Prof. Dr. Karlshaus is a member of the project.
