Jürgen Meyer Endowed Chair for International Business Ethics and CSR. In the article a concept is developed, which was integrated into the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for higher education. The article was published in the prestigious International Journal of Management Education.
CBS is an example of how universities can be an engine for the implementation of SDGs as they play an active role in the shaping of society. One example of this is the establishment of the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management, whose goal is the implementation of responsible management in theory and practice. Also mentioned are the exchange between industry and local companies via the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as regular guest lectures, which are part of the Sustainable Management Executive Masterclass series.
