Socializing at N’StIP

Before the start of the lecture period, the New Students Integration Program (N’StIP) takes traditionally place at Cologne Business School. The athletic competition between the teams of freshmen and fellow students was carried out in the best summer weather on August 22, 2018 nearby Cologne’s football stadium.

More than 400 new students and many CBS employees were divided into 30 teams to compete in various challenges. As in previous years, the N’StIP aimed at connecting the students while playing team games. The teams earned some extra points by building a human pyramid or choreographing a dance before the challenges began.

Afterwards they started with the seven challenges, in which they had to collect as many points as possible on their “score cards”. The team members went down an inflatable water slide, played human table football or proved their skills on the surf simulator. “The N’StIPs challenges help breaking the ice between the new students and make it easier to socialize with fellow students and CBS employees,” summarized Juliane Harnoth, Head of Event Organization. The N’StIP ended with an after party in the club lounge of the football stadium.
