Fun and action at the N’StIP 2019

A fresh start – the winter semester 2019 at CBS. And as every year, the traditional New Students Integration Programme (N’StIP) took place during the introductory week. On the Jahnwiesen at the RheinEnergieStadium, the new freshmen and students of higher semesters competed against each other in team sporting competitions.

Numerous first-year students as well as many current students and CBS employees came together on the Jahnwiesen to start the coming semester full of action in the best summer weather. Despite all the sporting competition, the main focus was on getting to know each other – being there (and having fun) is everything!

All teams had to score as many points as possible in various challenges: Among other things, it was necessary to conquer a climbing wall, to prove oneself by sliding on the waterslides and to defeat the life-size opponents in the XXL-Human Kicker.

In the food area, all participants were able to fortify themselves with tacos, fries and frozen yoghurt.

“The N’StIP is the ideal event for our freshmen to get to know their fellow students and CBS staff. With the sun shining again, the various events provided a lot of fun for all the new students. The team games strengthened the sense of community right from the start,” explained Kristina Behr, one of the main organisers of the event.

Students and employees ended the day in a relaxed atmosphere at the afterparty in the club lounge of the RheinEnergieStadion.
