Farewell Party for Internationals

All Categories, Inside CBS   -  22. May 2017

This review was written by Janighi Roman, master student International Tourism Management from Peru, who is working at the International Office at CBS.

Last week we organized a small farewell party for our International Students in the cafeteria. Almost 100 students joined us to spend a nice time together before the final exams begin. The participants were able to tale pictures with an improvised “photobooth” with funny drawings of emojis, lips and mustaches and also with some phrases like “I survived CBS” or “best friends forever”.

Since we had luck with the weather, we were able to use the grill and prepare a barbecue in the garden. Afterwards, we presented a video with some memories of the semester. Our students also received a small semester book with a few pictures and blank pages to write messages for the people that are going back home. There was no time to be sad, the party continued with happy music, mostly Latin music. We are happy we had the opportunity to meet so many people from all over the world. We wish everyone a save trip back home and good luck in the future.

Thank you note: As this is my last semester at CBS and the last event I organized in name of the International Office, I would like to take the opportunity to give special thanks. First, to Silke Bochow who gave me the opportunity to join the International Office last semester. Second, to the people in the International Office for being such a great team, I enjoyed my time there and learned so much from them. Last but not least, to the CI Team for giving the needed support during the events at the cafeteria. Being part of the International Office was one of the best experiences I had at CBS.
