Cologne Business School and Providence University intensify their strategic partnership

Prof. Dr. Alessandro Monti, Professor of Corporate Management and Organization and Academic Director of the MBA programs, represented the Cologne Business School this week at a kick-off meeting with Prof. Dr. Martin Kao, Vice Dean of the International College at Providence University. The meeting aimed at developing joint courses for Bachelor’s and Master’s students.

“Our universities can look back on a successful cooperation with the “3 + 1 Program”, our double-degree program. We would now like to strengthen this partnership with a new project: a joint “Global MBA”. We are delighted that we have taken the first successful step on this path with our meeting this week,” said Prof. Dr. Alessandro Monti.

On the occasion of his visit to Providence University, Prof. Dr. Alessandro Monti also presented the Bachelor’s programs “3 + 1 Program” and “International Business” at the “Study Abroad Fair” and the “International Partner Day”. He also gave a guest lecture on “Digital Pricing” and participated in courses by Taiwanese lecturers to explore specific learning content and methods as a guideline for the joint  project.

The CBS study programs “3 + 1 Program” and “International Business”

The English-language “3 + 1 Program” is the double-degree programmebetween Cologne Business School and Providence University. After the first four semesters of study at the Taiwanese university, Bachelor students move to the Cologne campus and graduate with the official degrees of both universities.

In the English-language attendance study “International Business” the Bachelor students acquire the basic knowledge about management in an international context. By means of various specialisation opportunities from the third semester onwards, they can further develop their strengths.
