The CBS International Business School was once again voted the best private university of applied sciences in the area of business administration in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in the personnel ranking of the magazine “WirtschaftsWoche”. The focus of the survey of around 590 personnel managers of German companies was the question of which universities and universities of applied sciences the personnel managers would particularly like to hire graduates from. This year, the CBS was once again able to score points with its 42 German or English language study programmes at Bachelor, Master and MBA level in which teaching, and practice are closely interlinked.
“We are very proud that we were able to defend our top position from last year,” emphasises Prof. Dr. habil. Elisabeth Fröhlich, President of the CBS International Business School. “The excellent result in the WiWo university ranking is an important confirmation for us that our practice-oriented study concepts are a decisive key to starting a career in top companies. Thus, our university was once again able to prove that our innovative and high-quality study programmes meet the requirements of the economy. “
The consulting company Universum conducts its university ranking annually among German universities and universities of applied sciences with a focus on business-related subjects such as business administration, economics, and law. Personnel managers from small, medium, and large companies throughout Germany are free to name several universities in the interviews. The ranking is thus based on the frequency of their naming.
