CASM now a prominent partner of the AHK Slovenia

The Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) of the CBS is now, alongside the WISE Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Emerging Economies, a prominent partner of the German-Slovenian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Slovenia) . In 2019, the Slovenian Chamber of Industry and Commerce will again award the already traditional German Business Prize, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Slovenia and the WISE.

Sustainability Award for Social Responsibility

The prize is awarded to a company that implements sustainability as far as possible, both technologically and in terms of social and ecological needs. The jury of experts will thus honour sustainable business strategies that are valuable for companies and society. Both the jury and WISE see corporate management that assumes social responsibility as an important paradigm. Digital networking in industry 4.0 not only brings opportunities, but also risks. Social compatibility and environmental awareness should therefore be an integral part of entrepreneurial activity.

WISE as a merger of four CBS International Business Schools

The WISE (“World Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Rising Economies”) is an association of four partners. In addition to the CBS, three other CBS International Business Schools are partners in the WISE. One is the Slovenian “IEDC Bled School of Management”, the other is the “National Institute for Innovation Management” of the University of Zhejiang (China) and the South African “University of Stellenbosch Business School”. The four international centres of excellence look at today’s major business challenges from a global perspective, trying to bridge the gap between local entrepreneurship and global opinion leadership.

The CBS International Business School has been part of the Stuttgart Klett Group since 2016.
The Klett Group is a leading educational company in Europe and is represented internationally in 17 countries. Its product range includes classic and modern educational media for everyday school life as well as lesson preparation, specialist literature and fine literature.
