Business Simulation Game3 ECTS ? !

In a business simulation game participants have to manage their own virtual company which operates in the same market as other participant-operated competitors. This involves making typical management decisions in realistic environments. Beside the deepening and active examination of subject-specific knowledge the simulation games also include the team environment, where interaction, communication and prioritization are of paramount importance. Participants learn how to manage risk and uncertainty while time is limited and information constrained. Group-reflections help to take over different perspectives and to discuss pros and cons of content- as well as behavior-related actions.

During the Master Thesis Tutorial you will learn the fundamentals for your Master thesis: Defining the topic as well as structuring the thesis and you will learn the theoretical knowledge for scientific working.

During your 5th semester you are working on your Master thesis, the subject is freely selectable. A supervisor from CBS will support you and you can write the thesis in collaboration with a company as well. Or you can write your thesis in connection with a stay abroad.

Gain practical experience during your part-time digital transformation management masters

At CBS International Business School, you lay the foundation for new tasks and positions with the part-time master's programme "Digital Transformation Management". In practice-oriented learning content, such as a business simulation game, you will learn at an early stage how to apply your specialist knowledge in practice. During this digital business game, you learn to make complex management decisions and have the chance to lead "your" company to victory. As part of the business project, you and your group will solve a task for a CBS corporate partner. In doing so, you will advise "your customer", conduct analyses and derive recommendations for action on how digital transformation processes can be implemented in their specific case. During this project, you not only gain valuable practical experience, but also gain an insight into the industry of the respective cooperation partner and can further expand your business network.

You will learn how to convince investors, partners and CEOs in the Innovation Lab - Business Plan Writing and Pitching and optimise your practical application in the Capstone Simulation Game. In this digital business game, you take business decisions and put your skills into practice.

Since the founding of digital companies in particular has been promising in recent years, you can take advantage of your creative skills from the area of digital transformation management and take away valuable input for future jobs.
